I love to learn, but sometimes I’m just too busy to read a book or research something. To be honest, college and changing careers has left me with a little bit of an allergy to picking up a book with the intent to learn something new. In the last two years, I’ve solved this problem by becoming an avid podcast consumer. It has allowed me to fit learning experience into my busy schedule and has exposed me to some of the most informed people in the world. Whether it’s hunting, health, or some other topic, if I want to fill in a knowledge gap I know I can find a podcast that caters to that topic. Without further ado, I give you my go to podcast listening:
Hunting:
The Rich Outdoor Hunting Podcast
Health, Fitness, and Wellbeing
General Awesomeness
The School of Greatness with Lewis Howes
The drive to improve and become something great is within each of use. We dream of conquering and becoming. In many of us, this desire is suppressed, but it still exists. Sometimes we become entangled in the rat race of life and we go into survival mode. I know I did. Hunting reignited the desire in me for knowledge, knowledge of the world around me and knowledge to be the best hunter I could be.
The content that these influencers shared in their podcasts gave me the answers I was looking for and helped fan my desire for knowledge and growth. I highly recommend you check out these podcasts. I challenge you to establish a 30 minute period of your day that is devoted solely to learning, whether that is through podcasts or some other means. Make that time non-negotiable, a sacred time just for you. I know it will positively impact your life if you do, just as it has positively impacted my life.
